Percussion

Technically this isn’t entirely percussion due to the use of the Harp, which is actually a string instrument. However, the piano, the 2 xylophones, the tubular bells and the crotales are all percussion so it seemed like a good name. It’s a pretty simply piece of music, which develops from some starting piano chords and doesn’t really go into any particularly complicated melody lines, making it quite enjoyable with simplicity. In addition it is also a very light piece, since the stronger piano plays very slowly while the weaker instruments such as the xylophones, crotales and tubular bells play much quicker. Sibelius isn’t great on percussion so I used Audacity’s Wahwah effect to make it more interesting.
