Orchestra/Concert Piece No 1
This was my first stab at orchestra, although to be honest it was my own orchestra and I selected all the instruments. Note that there is a lot of percussion in there and it is quite effective. The brass have a leading role in this piece but you can also hear the saxophone, other woodwind and the strings. At the start the piece walks over a slow tune with alot of instruments playing long notes underneath and the tune still playing quite slow notes. The speed soon increases as it seems the percussion is pushing the strings along. The slow tune comes back for a second but then it shoots off, getting louder and louder and faster and faster until it hits the end.
